Improvised Scanner

So one thing I didn’t pack for my year trip round Asia was a scanner. Unsurprisingly.

I had no idea the earthquake would happen, and that this project would subsequently happen, meaning that I needed to get many drawings from paper to screen. As with most things with this book it has taught me to make do, and whatever effect it makes will just add to the character.

So this was my scanner…


My battered, but trusty four-year-old compact system camera. It added an extra challenge, sometimes the illustrations weren’t always photographed from directly above and some bits are slightly out of focus.
